Researchers from Pakistan and United Kingdom make blood cancer treatment discovery

Research at AKU-CRM is focusing on harnessing stem cell technologies to develop regionally (Pakistan and East Africa) relevant induced pluripotent stem cell lines. The aim is to understand the biology of diseases and use this knowledge to develop economically viable therapies and diagnostic kits​.
