Rauf Islamov was born in Baku, Azerbaijan and studied kemancha at the Asaf Zeynalli Music College Bachelor’s programme at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory. Master’s programme at the Azerbaijan State Art Univeristy. He has toured widely with the Alim Qasimov Ensemble.
