In Pakistan, since March 2020 when schools were shut down because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Aga Khan Education Services has been carrying out various remote learning programmes to ensure that its students are able to continue learning from home.
One of the most far-reaching initiatives has been the Digital Learning Programme in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral, which is helping more than 34,000 students keep up with their lessons through digital classes transmitted via cable television.
Watch this short video to see how the programme is helping students and families.
