The Aga Khan Schools (AKS) brings together the Aga Khan Education Services and the Aga Khan Academies.
The agency operates across 12 countries in East Africa, South and Central Asia, and the Middle East. It includes more than 200 schools, 100 non-formal education programme centres and seven hostels, serving over 96,000 students each year with the support of 6,400 teachers and staff.
This first joint publication looks back to 2021 and features stories of how its schools ensured a safe re-opening after COVID-19 closures, and highlights some of the exciting activities and achievements of its students, as well as the higher education opportunities and destinations of its graduates.
