The Minister awarded Marina Tabassum architect of the Bait Ur Rouf Mosque in Dhaka and Kashef Chowdhury for the Friendship Centre in Gaibandha at a ceremony jointly organised by the Aga Khan Development Network and the Ministry of Cultural Affairs held at the Ismaili Jamatkhana Centre in Dhaka. The two architects were among the six winners of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture 2016 from 348 nominated projects in 69 countries.
