On 11 October in Maputo, the Vice-Minister for Agriculture and Food Security in Mozambique, Luísa Celma Caetano Meque, congratulated the Ismaili community and the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) for contributing to the development and wellbeing of Mozambicans. She also stated that the collaboration with AKDN was crucial for the development of projects in priority areas defined by the Government, with emphasis in agriculture, health and education. The cooperation between the Government and AKDN has been a strategic partnership that has encompassed the creation of more than a thousand jobs and the development of projects that benefit more than 200,000 Mozambicans.
