As part of the Syrian “In Devotion to Hama” campaign, the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) pledged to expand its projects across various areas of Hama Governorate, allocating millions of dollars in additional support to strengthen programmes in health, water, education, solar energy, agricultural production, microfinance, and cultural heritage preservation. The network said its initiatives cover the city of Hama and surrounding areas, as well as the towns of Salamiyah, Masyaf, Al-Suqaylabiyah, Muhardah, and neighbouring villages. The statement emphasised AKDN’s commitment to supporting the Syrian people in restoring basic services, rebuilding the country, and enhancing resilience under difficult conditions, contributing to long-term development and prosperity.
