The Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, Syed Mehdi Shah, recently met with Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) Pakistan Chief Executive Officer, Muhammad Akhtar Iqbal, to discuss ongoing development activities, socio-economic projects and various issues of mutual cooperation in Gilgit-Baltistan. The governor expressed deep sorrow and regret over the recent incident of burning the office of the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) in Skardu, and commended AKRSP for their outstanding services for community development and public welfare of the region.
