The Aga Khan Foundation's Memphis chapter will host its 11th annual walk-run on 6 October in Collierville, Tennessee (USA). The event will feature live music, food trucks, children's activities and multicultural performances. "It's going to be a fun environment," project co-manager Arif Somjee said. In addition to its traditional 1-kilometre walk, the organisation is incorporating its first official color run, where runners are doused in colored powder during the race. The purpose of the walk-run is to raise funds for charity. Attendees can contribute by purchasing food or participating in activities.
