Aga Khan Health Services, Tanzania (AKHS-T) in collaboration with both public and private sectors, has inaugurated a training centre for emergency diseases. The Centre, aimed at improving emergency care in the country, has been furnished with essential equipment for disease treatment. The initiative is financially supported by the Polish Government through Polish Aid and implemented by the Polish International Aid Centre. Dr. Hussein Manji, a specialist in emergency diseases and the coordinator of the emergency service project, highlighted the completion of construction, renovation and modernisation of the Centre, setting a new standard of emergency services education in the country.
