On 30 March, the Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) will host a free Endometriosis Awareness open day from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at AKUH Nairobi. The theme of the Open Day Awareness is "Understanding Endometriosis from Adolescent to Menopause". AKUH plans to shed light on the disease and educate women on the need to speak up about the symptoms and impacts of those symptoms on their everyday life. The hospital has invited women of all ages to come and interact with their fertility specialist and gynaecologists who will answer questions regarding the disease.
