The Aga Khan Health Service Tanzania (AKHS,T) has urged Tanzanians to undergo regular health checks to detect illnesses early and ensure timely treatment, unveiling new wellness packages for men and women ahead of the festive season. Speaking during a visit by the Diplomatic Spouses Association (DSA) to the Masaki clinic on 27 October 2026, Aga Khan Hospital Dar es Salaam medical director and head of obstetrics and gynaecology, Professor Muzdalifat Abeid, said regular health checks were essential to protecting individuals and families. “We are pleased to welcome members of the Diplomatic Spouses Association to our Masaki clinic. Such partnerships provide an opportunity to raise awareness of women’s and children’s health, encourage informed health decisions and emphasise the importance of regular check-ups and early intervention,” she said.
