The Aga Khan Department Network (AKDN) and the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) agreed to work jointly for the people's welfare. During a meeting with BISP Secretary, Omar Hamid Khan, at the BISP headquarters in Islamabad, Akhtar Iqbal, CEO of the AKDN in Pakistan, highlighted the role and work of AKDN in the fields of health, nutrition, education, disaster management and risk reduction.
