In these spring days, to support President Emomali Rahmon's initiative to transform Tajikistan into a "Green Country," employees of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) and its agencies operating in Tajikistan, in collaboration with the Khoroson district authority and the Forestry Agency under the Government of Tajikistan, held a tree planting ceremony along the Dushanbe-Bokhtar highway near the village of Fakhrobod. This initiative aims to support the effective implementation of Tajikistan's reforestation programme for 2022-2026, designed to enhance climate stability through forestry and planting activities. The tree planting ceremony was also dedicated to the celebration of the Navrouz festival in Tajikistan, demonstrating a deep commitment to environmental issues and sustainable development
