Accelerate Prosperity (AP) is a new global initiative of AKDN in Central and South Asia and provides technical expertise, creative financing solutions and market connections for small and growing businesses. It is aimed at supporting enterprise start-ups and small and medium businesses in need of acceleration. The focus is on women and youth (age 16 to 30) in rural towns and peri-urban settings, where economic opportunities often remain insufficient. It also targets entrepreneurs with low-income earnings, refugees and migrants, the unemployed and those who have not completed primary or secondary education.
