The Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) Tajikistan has received funding from the European Commission through the Pakistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan Regional Integration Program (PATRIP) Foundation for the implementation of the Supporting Cooperation and Opportunities for Regional Economic Development (SCORED) – a project financed in partnership with the AKF UK. The objective of the SCORED is to catalyse regional economic development and integration in the border regions of Afghanistan and Tajikistan. In the framework of the SCORED project, the construction of a cross-border suspension bridge between Tajikistan and Afghanistan is planned to be implemented.
