AKU offers to improve public sector health facilities

Aga Khan University (AKU) has offered uplift Pakistan’s healthcare regulatory framework and bring it on par with the international standards. The offer was given by President of AKU, Dr Sulaiman Shahabuddin, who had a meeting with the Pakistan Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Health, Dr Malik Mukhtar, and Federal Secretary Health, Nadeem Mehbub. During the meeting it was discussed that how private sector can cooperate to run the public sector health institutions. “We are determined to introduce reforms in the health sector and will provide quality health services to the masses,” said Dr Mukhtar.
