The Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi has opened its 54th medical centre in East Africa. The Rhapta Medical Centre provides a comprehensive range of general and specialist services such as Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ear, Nose and Throat, Paediatrics, Well-baby clinic, Counselling Psychology, Vaccination, Nutrition & Weight Loss and Family Medicine clinic among others. It also offers wellness programmes. The opening of the Rhapta Outreach Medical Centre is in line with the hospital's strategic goal of expanding access to quality care. The clinic is supported by on-site Ultrasound services and well-equipped laboratory, and pharmacy services. “This medical centre is not just a building, it is a promise to deliver quality and accessible care closer to where people live and work, offering convenience to families and improving health outcomes," said Aga Khan University Hospital CEO Rashid Khalani.
