AKU’s Dr Khairulnissa Ajani shares leadership journey at global “She Leads” event

Dr Khairulnissa Ajani, Director at the Aga Khan University (AKU) Network of Quality, Teaching and Learning (QTL_net), was recently invited to share her leadership journey at the “She Leads: Women in Leadership” event. The “She Leads” programme is a global initiative under Advance HE’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) framework. Designed with an experiential approach to leadership development, it equips women with the skills, confidence and networks needed to thrive in leadership roles across academia and professional sectors. “She Leads” has had meaningful impact across the UK, Ireland, the Middle East, Sub‑Saharan Africa, and Central Asia, bringing together women leaders to exchange experiences and foster stronger professional networks. Through her contribution, Dr Ajani highlighted how institutions like AKU are contributing to global conversations on equity and leadership development, underscoring the importance of supporting women leaders at every stage of their careers.
