The Minister of Antiquities of Egypt, Khaled al-Anani, recently met with the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC) to discuss means of cooperation in the development of Cairo’s historical districts. They discussed recent projects carried out by the AKTC that targeted Egyptian antiquities and monuments in addition to the restoration of Altinbugha al-Mirdani Mosque in Al-Darb Al-Ahmar, among other projects.
