Bangladesh's name will be heard loud here at a global stage of architects on 13 September as the recipients of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture (AKAA) 2019 will receive the award. The winners of the AKAA 2019, including a Bangladeshi project, were announced on 29 August. The winners will share $ 1 million among them. Five other winning projects are from Bahrain, Palestine, Russian Federation, Senegal and the United Arab Emirates. The ceremony and its related events mark the culmination of the 14th triennial cycle of the Award (2017-2019).
