BERI organises AI & Business Innovation Competition

The Bangladesh Education and Research Institute (BERI), with support from UTS College Bangladesh and Google for Education & Allied, recently organised the Grand Finale and Award Ceremony of the AI & Business Innovation Competition 2026 in Dhaka. The national-level competition brought together students from Grades 9 to 12 to explore how artificial intelligence (AI), business innovation, and digital technology can address real-world challenges in Bangladesh. CENTRAVAX from The Aga Khan Academy, Dhaka, placed fourth. The theme for the 2026 edition of the competition centred on “Digitalising Child Vaccination Tracking in Bangladesh Using Google Technologies.” Participants were challenged to address issues such as the absence of a centralised real-time vaccination database, missed immunisation schedules, and the loss or damage of paper-based vaccination records. Their proposed solutions were expected to incorporate AI, demonstrate viable business models, and create positive social impact in healthcare.
