Bobby Hajjaj: English medium schools being brought under uniform policy

The Bangladesh State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj said the government was working to establish a coordinated and accountable framework to ensure quality education for all students across the country. “To this end, all English medium schools in the country are being brought under a uniform policy,” he said while visiting Aga Khan Academy Dhaka in the capital. Referring to the county’s future leaders, the state minister said one of the main goals was to enhance their development with world-class skills, moral values and creativity. “We want to establish an education system where students will not just chase after achieving good results in examination; rather, they will learn to think independently, learn to innovate and learn to lead the future generation.”
