In a landmark development for Pakistan’s healthcare sector, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board has approved the allocation of approximately 22 acres of prime land for the establishment of an Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) campus in Islamabad. The site is located along a major highway, ensuring high accessibility for patients, students, and faculty members. Aga Khan University (AKU) President Sulaiman Shahabuddin confirmed the development, calling the site “a very good green piece of land” for the hospital. “I personally visited the land, and it is an excellent option for a teaching and healthcare facility,” he noted.
