The Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), in collaboration with the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, will celebrate the success of the two Bangladeshi projects that won the 2016 Aga Khan Award for Architecture: the Bait Ur Rouf Mosque in Dhaka and the Friendship Centre in Gaibandha. The Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), in collaboration with the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, will celebrate the success of the two Bangladeshi projects that won the 2016 Aga Khan Award for Architecture: the Bait Ur Rouf Mosque in Dhaka and the Friendship Centre in Gaibandha. Minister for Cultural Affairs, Asaduzzaman Noor and Director of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture, Farrokh Derakhshani, will present award certificates at ceremonies to be held on March 8th for the Bait Ur Rouf Mosque and on March 9th for the Friendship Centre.
