Civil society should play a proactive role in the protection and conservation of the nearly 450 years old Qutub Shahi Tombs located near Golconda Fort, a group of eminent persons said on Tuesday evening. The group was given a power-point presentation of the conservation work being carried out by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture at Maulana Azad National Urdu University. The presentation by Ratish Nanda, AKTC's project director for the tombs complex, was organized by Manuu's H K Sherwani Centre for Deccan Studies.
