Cultural book launch ceremony under the auspices of the Walled City Authority

The Walled City of Lahore Authority in Pakistan launched the book “Cultural Mapping of Walled City of Lahore and Its Lahore Identity” at the Bastion Cafe of Lahore Fort. The book highlights the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of inner Lahore. Director General of the Walled City of Lahore Authority, Maleeha Rashid said that this book is not just a document but a celebration of our cultural identity. “Old Lahore is unparalleled in its uniqueness, and we want this spirit to be preserved for future generations,” he said. This project was made possible with the cooperation and support of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC) and other organisations.
