Kyrgyz Minister of Culture, Azamat Jamankulov, recently met with the Diplomatic Representative of AKDN in Kyrgyzstan, Dr. Shamsh Kassim-Lakha to discuss further development of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and AKDN in the field of culture, as well as the possibility of holding cultural events in Kyrgyzstan in the coming year. Dr. Shamsh Kassim-Lakha expressed his intention to organise the "Kyrk Kyz" (Forty Girls) musical show in Bishkek. The "Kyrk Kyz" heroic epic is an example of the Karakalpak people's creativity, historical and ethnographic monument, which is about 2000 years old.
