In a bid to align education with the fast-paced advancements and global technological developments, Aga Khan Primary School in Dar es Salaam has introduced a specialised curriculum known as the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for its students. The programme aims to empower learners to effectively respond to global changes and become knowledgeable, skilled, and positively minded global citizens. Speaking during the PYP exhibition held at the school, Blandina Duwe, the Head Teacher of Aga Khan Primary and Nursery School, said that the curriculum was designed to help students understand the current needs of the world. “It’s a curriculum that helps learners grasp what the world demands today and how they can be part of the solution,” she stated.
