The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has started digitising details of over 1,300 heritage sites within its jurisdiction, including some that have not yet been notified on its website. The details will include the GIS mapping of each site with a polygon sign on the map and photos showing their current status. While the project is to be completed this year, the civic body plans to add 360-degree views of the structure later. MCD is also in the process of converting its Printing Press into a museum and is in the process of transferring documents and artefacts to Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts. Aga Khan Trust for Culture will provide consultancy for the conservation of Press Building, located next to Town Hall in Chandni Chowk.
