Dr Naveed Yousuf, CEO of the Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB), has been appointed Vice President of the International Association for Educational Assessment (IAEA) starting in 2025. This follows his election as a member of the Board of Trustees earlier this year. His dual roles enhance Pakistan’s representation in global educational assessment discussions. The IAEA is a key global forum for examining bodies and research organisations from over 50 countries. Dr. Yousuf’s election highlights his expertise in assessment and AKU-EB’s reputation in educational transformation. “It is an honour to represent Pakistan and AKU-EB at the IAEA,” said Dr Yousuf. “I look forward to shaping the future of educational assessment while enhancing our practices at home.”
