On 7 December, a drinking water supply system rehabilitated by the Aga Khan Foundation as part of a collective effort under the financial assistance from the British Government and the Aga Khan Foundation was inaugurated in Bazar-Korgon village, in the Jalal-Abad region. The rehabilitated system provides drinking water to 280 households benefiting more than 1,400 people as well as to a neighbouring a 110-bed district hospital, a medical clinic, a kindergarten and two schools.
