A workshop on Early Childhood Development (ECD) was organised by the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives with support from UNICEF, the World Health Organization Pakistan and Aga Khan University to advance national guidance for young children. The gathering brought together experts to refine Pakistan’s ECD Operational Guidelines and ensure they remain firmly evidence-based and focused on nurturing care, child health and early learning. Discussions aimed to align technical inputs, so the Early Childhood Development framework reflects current research and practical priorities for caregivers and service providers.
