At the Second Aga Khan Education Conference In Kampala (Uganda), participants have challenged the Authorities across East Africa to embrace continuous assessment rather than a system that measures performance with one exam. Cale Santus, a curriculum specialist at the National curriculum development centre, says continuous assessment has been implemented in primary teacher colleges and should be introduced in primary education to assess learners abilities for final evaluation.
