Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev met with Diplomatic Representative of Aga Khan Development Network Dr Barkat Fazal recently. The parties noted the successful visit of Prince Rahim Aga Khan to Kyrgyzstan in early March, when the meeting with the country’s leadership was held. Cooperation in green economy, hydropower, education, tourism, support of small and medium-sized business was reviewed. Particular attention was paid to the development of renewable energy, including construction of small hydropower plants including Kambar-Ata-1 the dam on the Naryn river. The parties reached agreement on organization of the meeting at the level of experts for identification of further actions in implementation of promising projects.
