EU Provides €10 Million to Support Stability and Resilience in Afghanistan

The European Union (EU) delegation in Afghanistan has announced that it will allocate €10 million to the Aga Khan Foundation to implement a €13.5 million programme in Afghanistan with the remaining €3.5 million provided by the Aga Khan Foundation. The programme will strengthen the resilience and sustainable reintegration of displaced populations while promoting economic growth in 10 provinces. The EU said that over three years, the programme will directly benefit 83,197 people and indirectly benefit 582,379 others, including young people, women, vulnerable host communities, returnees, and internally displaced people.
