Women by Women is a unique photographic campaign that champions the inspirational stories of women and girls, as well as the incredible talent of women photographers in the Global South. AKDN is working to improve the quality of life for tens of millions of people around the world. Amongst the 1,000 or so AKDN programmes and institutions that operate in 30 countries, primarily in the developing world, many date back over 60 years, and some over 100.
