The Aga Khan Education Service (AKES) laid the foundation stone of a Higher Secondary School in Garm Chashma, a remote area of Chitral, an important milestone for the development of education in the area. The foundation stone of the Higher Secondary School was laid by Princess Zahra Aga Khan during her brief visit to Chitral in May of this year. General Manager AKES, Pakistan Brigadier Retired Khush Mohammad Khan welcomed the guests and said that today is a very important and historic day. Because the foundation of such an institution is being laid on this land, which will prove to be a milestone in providing quality education to the new generation of the region in the coming times. The construction of the school building will be completed by 2028.
