Kyrgyzstan is an example for other countries in matters of environmental protection in the context of climate change. This was stated by Michael Kocher, CEO of the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), at the global forum 'Schools2030' held in Bishkek. According to him, developing and increasing the resources available to teachers is very important in order to provide them with all the necessary tools. “For example, we must empower teachers so that skills such as tree planting, waste recycling, and others are successfully introduced in schools. Today, this is very important. In this regard, Kyrgyzstan itself can be an example for other countries thanks to its good indicators,” said Kocher. He noted that the foundation has a project called 'Kindergartens in Jailoo.' As part of this project, children develop skills to understand climate change from an early age. It is very important to instill in children the concepts and habits of environmental protection, and here the role of parents is no less important.
