Global Ismaili Health Professionals Conference Drives Innovation & Collaboration

The Global Ismaili Health Professionals Conference bringing together Ismaili healthcare professionals from around the world from 17-19 April in Houston Texas, continued with a full day of scientific exchange, leadership dialogue, and professional collaboration. Dr. Fatima Boricha and fellow researchers shared oral abstracts and poster presentations highlighting emerging topics in healthcare research. Engaging sessions by speakers including Dr. Jin Xiao explored oral health, primary care redesign, climate-resilient health systems, and leadership across disciplines. The Keynote programme featured a Distinguished Leadership Lecture by Dr. Sulaiman Shahabuddin of the Aga Khan University and a Distinguished Cardiovascular Lecture by Dr. Salim Virani of Baylor College of Medicine, underscoring thought leadership at the forefront of global health and research.
