Ms Opendi noted that the university was making a great contribution to the nursing profession, which she described as the “life blood” of Uganda’s health systems. Mr Firoz Rasul, the AKU President, encouraged the graduates to remember how their education has equipped them with the skills to tackle challenges around them.
