Inside are six 16th Century monuments, designated by the UNESCO as world heritage sites. In 2007, AKTC had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) to undertake conservation of Humayun’s Tomb and 50 other monuments in the area.
