On 30 June, the Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) organised the first Health Media Conference in Karachi to develop a collaboration between healthcare experts and the media. AKUH manager communications Sehrish Shaban spoke about the hospitals as new source of reporting. Another discussion panel was conducted on health trends where the speakers spoke on prevalent health issues and preventive measures. AKUH chief nursing officer Salma Jaffar discussed the role of nursing care in Pakistan. CIME director Prof Charles Docherty spoke on futuristic healthcare education.
