On 20 November, in a meeting with the trustees of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC), held in Hyderabad, India, the State government asked AKTC to take up the restoration of Osmania General Hospital’s heritage building. Ratish Nanda, CEO of AKTC India, said: "We have just had one meeting. We were approached very recently and are looking through the details. It will take a couple of more meetings to be able to come to any conclusion. However, doctors from Osmania General Hospital are still hoping for a new building to be constructed."
