In New Dehli, to celebrate World Heritage Day, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is hosting a unique photo exhibition of Delhi’s historical monuments at Safdarjung Tomb. The exhibition is being organised by ASI’s mini-circle, which has 62 monuments under its jurisdiction, and close to 50 images will be displayed. In another part of the city, to celebrate the rural landscape theme for World Heritage Day, the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC) is organising farming and composting workshops at Sunder Nursery, exposing students from 20 city schools to such practices. Students will also be taken on a nature walk through the nursery with 200 native tree species.
