During the visit in Pakistan, His Highness met key government officials. In Islamabad, His Highness met President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. While in Chitral, he met Member of National Assembly Shahzada Iftikharuddin and also Member Provincial Assembly Salim Khan. In Gilgit, His Highness was given a warm welcome by a delegation comprising of Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman. After his visit to Northern Pakistan, he travelled to Karachi where he met with Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah and Governor of Sindh Muhammad Zubair. Finally in Karachi, His Highness the Aga Khan, Chancellor of Aga Khan University, inaugurated the Aga Khan University’s Centre for Innovation in Medical Education, a state-of-the-art facility for technology-based learning for health professional.
