His Highness the Aga Khan has concluded his visit to Uganda. His Highness was in the country on a 4-day visit, at the invitation of President Yoweri Museveni. He was the guest of honour at the country’s 55th independence anniversary celebrations and he was decorated with Uganda's highest civilian honour the Most Excellent Order of the Pearl of Africa medal. This was in recognition of his colossal contributions to Uganda’s Development and to humanity.
