On 11 September, His Highness was welcomed at the International Airport Kazan by Mintimer Shaimiev, the State Counsellor of the Republic of Tatarstan and UNESCO Special Envoy for Intercultural Dialogue. His Highness came to Tatarstan to preside the Award Ceremony of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture to be held in the State
