How a native of GBAO is developing a startup that made it to the international finals of the Startup World Cup

Anoyatsho Mirzojonov, a senior student at the University of Central Asia (UCA), has won the national stage of Startup World Cup Tajikistan 2026 with his educational startup, ENLIGHT. The platform helps school students prepare for university admission and grew out of Quandeel, a free educational initiative that has supported more than 400 students since 2020. In November, Mirzojonov will represent Tajikistan at the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in San Francisco, where he will compete with startups for a $1 million USD grand prize. The team's students have been accepted to UCA, the American University of Central Asia, United World Colleges, and other international educational institutions.
