The three-day international conference on childhood, which was organised by the Aga Khan University Institute for Human Development (AKUIHD) in partnership with the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and the Aga Khan Foundation development concluded with a call to African governments to increase their commitment and responsibility so that the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals can be achieved. Professor Kofi Marfo, Foundation Director of the AKU IHD said the best ways that could help the accomplishments of the effects, is for professionals in education, health, nutrition and childcare to take what has been discussed during the conference to society in which they live so that they can achieve the envisaged goals.
